Ironman Without Borders

As a child I always wanted to become a doctor. And work for Artsen Zonder Grenzen (Medicins Sans Frontiers, Doctors Without Borders, “MSF”) to help people in dire situations in Africa.
But life took different turns and now, I’m about to embark on my biggest challenge: racing an Ironman, a full distance triathlon. And meanwhile support MSF by raising funds for people who need help and medical care in place where there’s very little… Think about Yemen, DR Congo or Ukraine. Fortunately MSF is there!
In Barcelona, on 2 October 2022, I’ll be swimming 3.8km, biking 180km and running a marathon in support of this great charity. Aiming to raise at least EUR 10 for each kilometer, over 226 kilometers.
May I ask you to contribute with EUR 0,10 per km, i.e. EUR 22,60? Or any amount that you can spare?

Battling headwinds for 2x45k… One mechanical (lost my chain, which got stuck). And much more elevation than expected…
First part against the current (1000m in 32 minutes… Second part with the current 1000m in 20 minutes)
Including 1 minute pee-break and stopping 3 times to fix my shoe laces. Probably took me 2 minutes in total…
No wetsuit. Mass start, first lap like water polo😜
